We haven't blogged in quite some time, but I couldn't resist raving about the Strawberry Shortcake that our volunteer chef, Mallory, re-created today during our Brazosport Cares April Cooking Class. Credit History Seminar- August 20th
Credit History Seminar-- Thursday, August 20 at 11:45 am, Brazosport Cares Food Pantry (916 N. Gulf Blvd., Freeport). Ms. Allstott of TDECUwill lead a one hour, interactive class on Credit History, including tips for building up your credit history. The class, open to the public, includes lunch. Brazosport Cares would like to extend a warm and sincere Thank You to you for generously supporting Brazosport Cares Food Pantry in the fight against hunger. This year’s EMPTY BOWLS and ZUMBATHON Charity Event was a huge success, raising $27,000.
Many volunteers, artists, musicians, and local businesses played a substantial role in preparing for and carrying out the event, including the new Brazosport version of “EMPTY BOWLS.” As in the past, the licensed ZUMBA instructors put on a great program for those attending the “Will Dance for Food 2014” ZUMBATHON.
Funds raised stay within the Brazosport community and are equivalent to providing 2700 financially struggling families with much-needed food assistance The success of this year’s event would not have been possible without You! Your contribution has truly made a difference.
