Who We Are

Brazosport Cares Food Pantry continues to lead the fight against hunger in the Brazosport community by operating a community supported food pantry and weekend backpack program for hungry students.

Along with food assistance, the pantry provides referrals to other social service agencies to help address the physical, emotional and social needs of residents.  The pantry assist an average of 400 families facing hunger and food insecurity each month.

Billy worked hard and saved his entire life. Like many seniors, after retirement he found it difficult to make ends meet while living on a fixed income. "I never thought I would need help after I retired. But if Brazosport Cares wasn't here, I just wouldn't make it. I just wouldn't make it."
