Can I only volunteer Tuesdays and Thursday mornings?

No, we have a variety of volunteer opportunities including evening and weekends.

Donations

What is more important- Food donations or Fund donations?

Donating food provides a variety of nutritious, quality products for which we are grateful; however, money goes much further. Brazosport Cares Food Pantry can stretch your dollar through our partnerships with the Houston Food Bank. In fact, for every dollar donated we are able to acquire almost $6 in purchasing power from the Houston Food Bank.

How Do I start a Food or Fund Drive?

Of course! A great idea for your food drive is to collect gift cards or monetary donations. Please consolidate any cash donations into a check that can be made to: Brazosport Cares Food Pantry.

Can I collect Food and Fund donations at the same time?

Unfortunately, we do not accept clothing donations. We will gladly give you a list of community partners that take clothing donations.

Can we donate clothing items?

We accept all non perishable food items, produce, everyday essentials (i.e. shampoo, toothbrushes/toothpaste, soap, razors, feminine hygiene), baby items, senior citizen essentials (i.e. ensure, adult incontinence) and monetary donations.
